Looked to me that Gaelic Warrior got a bit lit up and went off too quick, tired mistakes and a fall at the end. F2F full of stamina and looked to have a fair bit left, should be favourite for whichever race he goes but personally would say he would be better over an extra 2.5f rather than dropping back 2.5f. Was a bit slower over his fences early on than GW too.
Agreed with the above on GW though, would be somewhat surprised if he went to Cheltenham at all after that. The old course is a lot tighter than the new course so you would think with his right hand jumping, Turners would still be his destination rather than the tighter old course in the Arkle.

He looked to me like he was hanging ever so slightly and Paul had to be on the steer/reigns for the first half of the race. Whereas Mark looked more relaxed.
His jumping was sometimes straight and sometimes a little right until it went tits up towards the end.
Fact to File got lit up half way through when he jumped upsides and then got back on the bridle which is a real good sign of a classy horse that's tractable. And he probably has much more in him.
Not sure why Gaelic appeared to blow up, it could have been the fence he hit as that seems most obvious, or just something wrong fullstop. I don't think it was the hanging and jumping right that would have caused such a tired looking finish. Although Paul might confirm he was gripping his reign the whole way round.
It'll all come out int wash.
