Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

What does an Irish National horse look like compared to a NHC horse??

Don’t know, but I do know he’s shorter for the NHC

20-1 best price BANC, 14-1 NHC. TCB as big as 16-1 NHC with Sky.
How dare the bookies disagree with expert Lobos???

To be fair it’s a completely different market…

He’s just after beating the pre race fav for the NHC

Plenty in front of 3cb for a BANC

While he does look like a NHC would suit I’d be shocked if he’s not in a BANC

Well I can understand the reaction, that race looked more of a NHC type of race to me

good luck with your bet for it though basing a price of a horse for a NHC vs a stacked BANC is a little flawed IMO

I backed him this morning as I thought the horse looked like he would relish a NHC
                I still do.
However I do accept he could run in the BANC, just not as dogmatic as others seem to be.

Hopefully connections will have noted the performance of G West and realise the NHC is his race.
Mind you he might not be the only one!!

                • Meetingofthewaters might be interesting for the NH chase, as a prep for the National.
Been raised 15lb for his recent win to IRE rating of 145 so Kim Muir looks doubtful.
Given Patrick owns the horse, he may want to ride it again.
Only 12-1 with a couple quoted right now. Not best price, but was bigger on exchange.

I wouldn't be frightened of Grangeclare West that's for sure. Looked good but is fragile + has bombed out a few times with zero Chelt form or runs?

Well the GW I saw the other day would beat TCB a distance over 3m imo

Never said he wouldn’t- but why would trainers run scared of a horse like GW. Hardly a festival CV to run from is it. He was impressive but many are and don’t back it up, wasn’t even their no1 for the race

Tcb Was closely matched with corbetts cross

So does montys star really have much to find with grangeclare west? I'm not sure he does

I'd also argue corbetts cross jumped worse the other day than he did when beating 3 card brag

                              • I personally don't think Corbetts cross has been running at his maximum just yet.
He'll be entered in the National I reckon and the BANC or Turners will be his prep. Which will be after the weights are out.
They'll be happy enough with anything below 150.
