Your Google search would've been different if I went with S&M.

Horse has always been a Supreme horse(if he proved good enough for festival)and never been mentioned as a possible Ballymore horse.

To be Fair , Barry Geraghty did mention it briefly on the " Off The Fence show " a while ago .

          • Jack def v keen on Caldwell for Bally & seemed to skip over Farren rather easily

Where's this from Tiger ? Can understand C Potter as it was deep, deep ground win last time over 2 and took some getting. Farren had a desperate fall .

              • Having watched Road to Cheltenham yesterday I got the impression that Jack K would ride Brighterdaysahead wherever she turned up at the festival.

She's got entries in the Mares, Supreme and Ballymore, as well as the likely entry in the Mares Novice Hurdle. It sounded like she might race against the boys at the DRF so just wonder if she could line up against the boys at Cheltenham.

Probably not, but ive taken a flyer on her at 750.0 for the Ballymore.

Road to Cheltenham. I didn't think he skipped over him at all though. They spent a decent amount of time talking about him, he just preferred CP and/or Firefox in the respective race. I thought he was sweet on FG still.

I've actually taken some big prices about FG in the Ballymore. He could be no.1 if CP is taken out of the yard.

                  • ….Caldwell Potter up for sale;

Owners Andrew and Gemma Brown, whose horses run under the Caldwell Construction banner, have cited the recent sad losses of young horses as the reason for their shock exit from the sport.

                    • JP should buy him to give him a chance in the Supreme

                      • I'd imagine Gordon will ensure the best of them stay in his yard. He's got plenty of people with deep pockets there. Caldwell Potter will be one he wants to keep, especially if Jack is keen for the Ballymore.

I was interested in some of the others for Cheltenham but best to wait and see what happens with them all now as a change in yards might see plans change.

Road to Cheltenham last night …..Firehox in Supreme & Croke in Spuds were his novice choices ….said Caldwell needs extra distance on decent ground & sounded keen on him

                          • PP have Caldwell Potter @ 33/1 NRNB for the Ballymore!
                            an EW no-brainier imo

In to 22's which is still madness even with the emerging news.

I'd take evens at this point and move on to the other 27 races
SkyBet have priced it up at 7/4 (NRNB). I think that's great value. If you dutched just the front two in the market you only get 5/4 (NRNB) or 13/8 (Antepost). Then you also have No Flies On Him and Mirazur West running for you. I won't be taking it as I can only get 3pts on so it's not worth it for my book but it could be a way into the race for some.
