  • Ile Atlantique got everything his way and got out battled but i think connection said previous he isnt an out and out stayer and would be more Neptune than AB.

    • Would have liked to have seen a better run from Firefox but Willie has two very good horses for the Ballymore in the first and second there I think

      • JackieMoon33 Readin Tommy Wrong was on your watchlist wasn't he? Nice win there.

Ile Atlantique just doesn't have it off the bridle but a Mullins 1-2-3. Will they be happy with those instead of Ballyburn? Gidleigh Park looks the one at the moment outside of Ballyburn.

Would you give many excuses there? Pace seemed ok and the ground look decent too. No one let down by their jumping apart from the winner potentially!

Stating the obvious but hard to fancy him up the hill in any race

I don't know, I'm going to have to watch it back. Chapeau De Soleil ruined his chance very early on, surprised he wasn't pulled up to be honest, nearly lost his back legs completely.

If this is all the Irish have then Gidleigh Park is hugely overpriced still.

One of my early pre-season jollies.

Some of those in behind definitely want further and Firefox possibly wants to go back in trip. I'm not sure Tommy is a festival winner but I'd say it was a fair result.

                • ….Ile Atlantique a best 10-1 Bally whilst you can get 8-1 Readin Tommy Wrong.

                  • I think Ile Atlantique is worth a go dropped in over that trip. Wouldn't completely write him off. Although I get the question marks on him...

That’s his 3rd battle now and lost every time. Let’s be honest he just doesn’t have the stones for it. To win at Cheltenham with the stiff uphill finish against the best horses, you need stones and plenty of them

Would have ruined the handicap plot though

More than likely correct. But I've got Harchibald in my photo on here FFS

Nrnb has to be the way to go if not already on RTW.
Jockey saying he felt like a 3 miler.
