    Re Shanagh Bob;

    On whether the Albert Bartlett at the Festival in March is a likely target, the Seven Barrows handler added: “This is the road to it, but let’s see how things go before we jump into that water, as there is a long way to go before that.

    “I thought this was a crazy step, but it has worked and he has got to stay in this company from here on in. If he can make the Albert Bartlett, that would be lovely. I know Joe (Donnelly, owner) would like to, and so would I.”

      Could be ground related I’d say, especially after a long layoff.

                Was quite impressed with him yesterday

                The Kim Bailey horse looked like a proper grinder who kept finding and finding but shanagh bob had that bit of class to win. Having run a little keen he had every right to not win given his inexperience. Youd think there is plenty of improvement to come.

                  • Owner of willmount loves a tweet, if that is the Owner. Tolworth originally then Plumpton now heading to Newbury.

                    Take everything you read/hear with a pinch of salt from him.

                        Yeah, given a 126 RPR for the win.

                        • Good staying performance from Dancing City in the 2m4f race today - seems to have taken a big step forward since being beaten by Stellar Story on seasonal debut.

                          Was 66/1 before the run, and can get 40/1 at the moment - which I think is quite fair for the Albert Bartlett.

                          Chances are he's 2nd or 3rd string for Willie by the time we get to that race though - Paul only ridden him once so far

                              ….despite the mistake at the last costing her, Fun, Fun, Fun generally cut for MNH although Hills still go 12-1.
