                Bective Abbey
                5g Mahler - Sizing Kimberlite
                Mark Blandford
                1- (point-to-point form)

Imposing and a chaser down the line, he was here in the spring and we liked what we saw. I imagine we'll go hurdling, but he could run in a bumper first.

                    • Gigginstown building a team of some lovely young horses - another decent winner today in Naas. Great to see after the talk they where packing it in a few years ago

                      • I'd say Brighterdaysahead might have found a mare capable of challenging her there in Cromwell's Only By Night.

                        Impressive.

Was put up on Champ.ie Monday night at 50/1. Glad I took a swing. In with every chance of making the frame

                            Didn't see that.

Can see why they've went hurdling even after saying she'd stay in bumpers. Mullins hasn't really run many yet...and unless you think Elliot's has it in the bag already- it's worth chancing.

I think she looks pretty good alright. I wouldn't be as sold on BDA as some, for all she's still full of potential herself. The DR race isn't the strongest form in the world.

*waits for someone to mention Jetara 45ls back has won twice since.....

what's wrong with the down royal race? the only other mare that ran her close that day came out the other day and ran a very good race against jetara, who you acknowledge was well beat in that race, the extra couple of furlongs of the other days race didn't suit banntown girl in them conditions but on the turn for home she looked all over the winnner.
Jetara on her best performances last season wasn't too far from last seasons top novice mares
It'll take a superstar to beat brighterdaysahead

Banntown Girl can often look the winner in her races before faultering when it gets tough. plenty of horses have beaten BG just as well.

Nothing particularly wrong with BDA, she's a 4-1 shot in a race with so many unknowns. I wouldn't agree on what i've seen so far that it'll take a superstar the form doesn't make me think unbeatable.

Jetara was good at times last year yes, i wouldn't say BDA is miles ahead of her either tbh. BDA has more potential with her profile of course though. Just my view, i've read your diary, you're very keen on her i know that but i don't subscribe to the same view.
