Good from Firefox, Gordon's Supreme horse for me.

I thought that looked a good Ballymore trial. Slow pace turned into a sprint. With Gordon saying DML a 2 miler too. That could be how they’re split.

I know many on here believe Firefox is a plot horse for the Martin Pipe, as someone that has been tooting his horn as a graded horse AND as somebody that has questioned the strength of Ballyburns bumper form the irony of the 1250 at Fairyhouse is not lost on me. I could be licking some very deep wounds come 1pm today.

The faliability of being a gambler is never more profound that in the moments building up to an event . I figured I would skip breakfast today in order to leave plenty of room for the large slice of humble pie I might be eating later.

Nah I don't see that. Now Ballyburn has been beat at 2 mile I see him going up in trip which means Mirazur West if winning his Maiden probably heads to Leopardstown over Christmas with Daddy Long Legs. I can't see JP wanting to run ADTS, Mirazur West, Jeriko and DML in the same race. My opinion obviously, but that's how I see things at the moment.

Very impressed with that. Jumped in at 10's which clearly won't last. Ballyburn ran very well and Ballymore is the race for him or even the Albert.

Might depend on others in the yard of course, but watching that he would be fine over further I reckon

I backed Ballyburn at 40/1 for the Albert Bartlett in the spring and i think there's still a chance that's where he ends up!

Not confident but I think they'll stay at 2m until he's beaten.

Don't think Down Memory Lane would impact the race he went for either to be honest.

Fair. I’d not factored in the JP angle. The only small points I’d make is that ADTS is injured and we don’t know when he’ll be back - “new year” could mean anything, and Gordon has said twice that they’ll take it easy with DML this year - will he even go?

Yeah his bumpers and breeding really suggest 2m4f is his minimum

My one note of caution on Firefox would be he got a very easy lead and had race fitness

Ballyburn was a big drifter

10s has little to no appeal to me at this stage

100% DML goes to the festival if he’s fit. Gordon is all about Cheltenham and he’s one of his best novices.
