Won as expected, I think the thing to take from that is that they looked to go a fair enough clip and he jumped lovely, as well as any novice so far.

I think the 2nd there king william rufus has run more like the level he showed in his bumpers rather than his efforts over hurdles so far.
a 2nd in a bumper to captain teague and a 3rd to gidleigh park he's no donkey on them runs
Was a very nice debut from jeriko

I think Jeriko was fully held together there by Nico, would have extended plenty further I imagine.

I liked that run, jumps smoothly and has an engine. Yes didn't beat much but clearly has more to give. Look forward to seeing how much. Nice one to have in the pocket come the supreme, and hope that it will be as good a contest as it's shaping up to be with the prospects we've seen so far and reputations of those to come

That was lovely - yes the 4/1 is ridiculous, but the biggest thing I'm taking from that is who has done it. Maybe something, maybe nothing but when the stable sponsors go short, I'm happy to have the rose tinted glasses on and think that's a good sign for backers!

Nico was looking around for dangers on Willmount so he was good for more than 36l. He's deffo still my number1

Willmount and jeriko were given very different rides
Jeriko was held up and ridden like a fast horse with nico not touching him
Willmount was prominent and ridden like a galloper and kicked on a good way for home
Impossible for jeriko to win as far the way he was ridden
Any ideas where jeriko will go next with the kennel gate having been removed?
