I'm holding my ticket still in hope we see a better display than last time out.
I have him at 50's for the supreme and 33's Ballymore so will keep hold, see what he does. If he loses I'll cut my losses on supreme and consider whether the Ballymore could help with the further distance/slower jumps

This is quite exciting, I literally backed him yesterday for the bumper after tactical affair won.
luckily for me it was with bet365 and the helpful fat jockeys have alerted me to this news.

So it looks like they'll be starting out over two and a half with him if it's the first Navan Meeting in December. Probably leaning towards the AB if I was to hazard a guess.

I certainly wouldn't rule the AB out
but i'd like to see him go the ballymore route now.
Being a ptp winner and bumper winner he has shown the necessary stamina required in his ptp win and also the speed with a bumper win.
Tactical affair was able to win a 2mile hurdle from enola yesterday, and butcher hollow had the speed to put him away in a bumper.
All 3 novice hurdle races could be in play but i'd prefer him for a ballymore

Shame she is missing the first half of the season, I was hopeful she'd get to the mares novice with a good chance. I'd be concerned she'd be saved for Fairyhouse given her soundness so cashed out all bets at nice prices.

I expect it's always been the plan. She had a behind closed doors hurdle race before her last win and won that by a hurdle so she can get fit at home. Price likely to hold though so always time to back again once she gets an entry. I expect we'll see her Xmas time.

              • Just catching up on weekends racing.

I thought Predators Gold performance was very very good ... easily in the top 5 novice hurdlers so far IMO! I'm not sure if I would back for Cheltenham (though Willie + Gigginstown love runners) .. I just think he looked all over a quality future chaser.

Really looking forward to the Royal Bond this weekend .. I'd like to see An Tobar and Down Memory Lane go at it.

                • I see Daddy Long Legs gets the nod along with Lombron in the 2 maiden hurdles at Thurles on Thursday.

Could Daddy Long Legs be a viable option for his usual French Supreme runner?

Long lay off with the flat run in France but was picked up for a big fee after that.

One I have my eye on definitely, gives the same vibes as parmenion last year, held back as a Juvenile, same owners, French flat purchase

I know he's injured but I hope Coleman doesn't get jocked up again once he's back on any of these good JP/Henderson horses

                        • No Down Memory Lane in the Royal Bond is a bit surprising.

                          Doesn’t look a great renewal.

An Tobar to bolt up (even though I want him to go the Ballymore)

yep surprising, Gordon mentioned he wanted to keep him on better ground, but it looks like there won't be much rain. Maybe a setback

                              • Hopefully An Tobar and Slate Steel take up the engagement and we see who Rachel picks. Josh on LTR seems to think Slade Steel is the one they think is the best novice, when all other sources are saying An Tobar and Killaney King. It looks a poor renewal tbf.
