Needs another 3 runs before Cheltenham. Doubt he will get them in.

If he ends up in a handicap I’d say it would be over further so the Pipe or Coral Cup. But I’m not sure I’d relegate him to that level after today’s performance.

      • Yeah, very true! He looked very raw and would certainly benefit from at least two more runs. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mullins tries to squeeze another one in between Christmas and the DRF though.

The horse he beat today looks like a pipe horse to me.

Along with Charles Byrnes’ horse in fourth. I’ll be watching him when he ends up in a handicap somewhere.

She's a really nice filly and one we've always liked. We'll get her out in the second half of the season and I'm looking forward to seeing what she can do.

Thanks Darlo. Been searching for news on her. She could be very interesting indeed. Obviously hard to keep sound so maybe one run before Cheltenham.

Might be because the horse that beat him on hurdles debut got tonked on saturday.

He's got 3 entries this week, so if you want to risk him running and winning in one you might get a better cash out if you was looking at that as an option. Obviously an additional gamble doing this as should he get beat again it's likely the cash out will be gone altogether.

I'm holding my ticket still in hope we see a better display than last time out.

I’m surprised they’re all over 2m, he looked to be doing his best work late on last time. I suppose the main priority at the moment is getting his jumping right. Looked like he hadn’t been to school at all around Ayr.

Hopefully he's done some excessive schooling, and they make the most of him from the front this time.

Depends whether he needs more or less time to think about how he’s going to get over his hurdles I suppose re: the distance issue.
