Bit harsh is it not Lobos? Ascending finished well behind them in both races last year, 18 lengths and 12 lengths shows the gulf quite clearly imo.

Ehhh how dya make that out? Almost franks it for me..

Ascending beaten 6L today off levels

Ascending beaten 12L by Lossie conceding 7lb (sex allowance)

Got to remember that Ascending was just a 4yo taking on older and more developed horses, he's ran with a great deal of credit there.

Should have backed each of them as a roll up for A Dream To Share to win the Supreme

Giving 7lbs though which evens it out a bit. Soooooooo hard for 5yo in open company.

Would that be the same Ballymore that Nicholls has farmed over the years?

In all seriousness, Nicholls has potentially bagged three great PTP recruits in Captain Bellamy, Histrionic and Welcom To Cartries. The first two are 4yo and going down the bumper route but he's cracking on with the 5yo Welcom To Cartries this season over hurdles. Knowing Nicholls they are all 'future chasers [insert cliche]' but the one I'm most interested in will be Captain Bellamy over 3m next season.

Haha, don't need to be able to farm them, as long as they're turning up at shorter than I've backed them, I'll keep making books and making money baybay

Yes he made it into my resurrected ATR tracker last night funnily enough.

The notifications from that atr tracker can be unreliable, a good few times I haven't been notified when a horse I've put in the tracker has been entered/declared. I find the timeform one much better.
