I'm hoping Kinbara does Captain Teague for stamina Got CT backed Supreme & Ballymore only! Kinbara for the Bartlett only.
It's very doubtful that Captain Teague would be considered for the Supreme, imo. Everything I've read and heard from Nicholls points to the Ballymore. I can't remember which video it was but in one, he actually says it won't be the Supreme for CT.
It's been good of Nicholls to name check Cheltenham races for his best Novices. CT Ballymore, Stay Away Fay BANC and Hermes Allen Turners.
Beckett Rock 126.
Ile Atlantique 133.
Zefiro Dodville 133 (what rating would Better Days Ahead have put up?)
Brighterdaysahead 138 (You Wear It Well had an RPR of 140 for the MNH win last season and Love Envoi a 138 the year before)
Slade Steel 120
Mahons Way 124
Southoftheborder 122
The Jukebox Man 121
Firefox got a 135 RPR for his bumper win, which is very good.
I hope Gordon isn't plotting a course to The Champion Bumper with Firefox . Where does he go now he's had four runs in bumpers??
He even got an entry in the Grade 1 Royal Bond, at Early Entry stage a week ago.
Their intentions are pretty clear, I'd say.
I've never checked, and I assume not, but would a bumper run count towards qualifying for a handicap? (as in, his run last time, run 1 towards the 4 needed for the Pipe) etc

National hunt flat races do not count as a qualifying run for a handicap Kev
It's for Me 2nd fav at the moment in the maiden hurdle over 2m tomorrow. Wears a hood for the first time which will hopefully help him out. His ptp win was very very good, as was his first bumper win and he didn't run badly at Cheltenham finishing 5th when racing too freely. Punchestown was a no show but again he lost his race well before the finish.

I'd be disappointed if he can't win tomorrow.
That surprises me. The 4 year old coming out into open age company is fav! Not as if he set the world alight as a 4 year old either, jut some solid runs, but you'd have to hope the bumper form just as form is stronger than the juvenile form. I guess he has that one question mark about his jumping to overcome.

No, but he’s already ran one Hurdle race a year ago (4th) - so, (that’s another reason) that he’s not been eligible for a Champion Bumper at Cheltenham for the last 12 months
Recent (Tuesday) quote from Nicky from our friend RoadToCheltenham on Willmount suggests Supreme might not be the one for him after all: ""As for the Supreme Novices Hurdle, he'd get two-and-a-half miles, so we'll see."
It's unlike Nicky to mention 2 1/2 miles usually, he's usually one to keep horses over the minimum unless beaten, but he's mentioned 2 1/2 after just one hurdle run here.

Might think he's got others that are better suited to Supreme perhaps. Thankfully I've covered everything!

Probably about time to cash out the potato bet then
