Yes, my sentiments as well. But Wille says a particular race, and we've all been here before. Going to sit on Ballymore multiples and see how it plays out. Take a view after Christmas

      • But as usual, some of these stable tour comments can be contradictory. He goes ballymore surely?

Yeah I'd agree other than the fact he said ballymore in the sportinglife one and Run4Home has said multiple times they see him and tullyhill as one's who'll go further

Yes, he did didn't he. God, I hate this, having to live inside Willie Mullins' head every year, this time of year. That gives me more confidence re the Ballymore.

Trying to get into Willie's head is actually quite a good idea. If you read those comments re Ballyburn through the lens of him already having hinted that Ballymore is the target, he’s then offering up the Supreme as a bit of a plan B if he doesn't settle. It might not have happened this way, but it could have.

Feb just gone, Irishracing.com recorded the whole pre-Cheltenham stable tour and released a video. It was hugely useful. It gave us all the nuances and even some extra titbits like an early heads up that State Man would stay over hurdles this year. They are releasing one of todays tour tomorrow. I'm holding off doing anything on the back of the ATR tour which was very selective in what it quoted last year.

              • The comments really mean nothing ATM - it's the performances on the track that count.

He said the way he currently races he would be a Supreme horse .. we all know that! but the hope is that hurdles calm him a bit and give him something to focus on and race a bit more professionally ... then he will be stepped up in trip.

And i'm balls deep in the Ballymore

Keen horses from that yard have good history in the Ballymore, Yorkhill and IEP last season being two.

Ballymore, prefer to look at what Willie bring out in late December, around Xmas. French type

Gaucher? Not even sure he's had a mention in any of the stable tours.

                        • Someone mentioned to me that Mullins has 270 horses in the yard, if true then it would be understandable that plenty of horses who aren’t mentioned,…

Don’t know how informed Dave Orton is but on the Big Jump Off he was very excited for this season for Gaucher and says we’ll see him out in November.

Im sure Impaire Et Passe probably didn’t get aa column inch in Willies stable tour last year.

If I remember right, IEP did get a nice mention in the sporting life tour last year along with Lossiemouth in one’s to watch or the young horses section
