Nothing that immediately stands out for Willie in any of the five novice hurdles across the two cards as far as I can see. Western Diego comes with some reputation. Milo Lises finished second in behind Predators Gold in the Land Rover with the form of that race working out quite well. And Jimmy De Seuil a French recruit that holds some interest. Dr Eggman was one I thought would want further.

Notably, Stellar Story entered over 2m4f at Navan but not in the 3m at Cork. All other Navan entries from the yard and entered at Cork too.

Mahon's Way has the Cork entry for Henry De Bromhead, so far following the same path as Hiddenvalley Lake. Also has the entry on Saturday but you'd think Sladesteel goes there.

If Gordon wins the Navan Novice Hurdle it will likely, and justifiably, catapult the horse to Bartlett favouritism.

Gordon has won the race 3 times (No More Heroes, Death Duty & Ginto) and all three have gone to the Bartlett, with the biggest, on the day price being 6/1 (No More Heroes).

Whilst none have followed up with a victory in the Bartlett after winning the race, No More Heroes did place, Ginto unfortunately lost his life when travelling well, and Death Duty unseated, albeit beat at the time.

Henry won the race last year and resorted back to the minimum trip for Inthepocket.

Willie tends to go Ballymore or Bartlett with his winners of the race, though he's only represented by Lecky Watson and I wouldn't be very bullish about his chances.

Personally hoping Better Days Ahead runs and wins it.

I'd imagine he'll follow the Sir Gerhard route, race over Christmas, onto the G1 at Leopardstown, then Willie will decide where to from there.

lmao, one of the highlights of last weekends racing for me was when Gary O'Brien asked Gordon if he was surprised to see KOK there at the last. His response 'You know he's been disappointing me, he's not even won a maiden' the dejected tone when he said not even won a maiden.

I quite like Lecky Watson for the AB. I think he was an underrated bumper horse and looked a stayer to me.

Already raced 6 times, staying on over 2m7f on debut to win, Shannon Royale in 3rd took down Tullyhill next time up too.

I really like Beckett Rock. He was very impressive on only his 1st ever racecourse appearance when winning his maiden well. Comes from a nice family (dam is a full sister to Column of Fire and half sister to Tully East) and Kayf Tara has had some speedy progeny.

He'd be in the top 3 best debuts over 2m this year for me.

Difficult for the 4 year olds going on 5 at Cheltenham to beat the novices who are a year older though.
