  • Yep iv cashed out, as darlo says not much price difference now to when I placed at 16s so if there's a hurdle entry can always jump back on. But once Bet365/BFSB click on to the fact she's highly unlikely to go to Cheltenham they will grey her out like a shot.

I loved her versatility. First race, made all on soft. Second, held up on good ground. I think she’s a solid bet. Enola the jazzy pick. There my two Willie bullets. Although He’s The One has made me think about Jade Du Grugy too.

Hope you're wrong I'm on her at 40's, which was available before her last bumper run!

I'm half expecting one of the million French imports to take the top spot though, I'm just not sure which one!

Lovely price hope willie gives her a good spin in the stable tour and your sitting on a lovely one.

          He has:
          Enola
          Junta Marvel
          Jade De Grugy
          Hip Hop Davis
          Full of Shade
          Je Garde
          Jolie Couer Allen
          Implicit
          Paggane
          Si Se Puede
          Irancy
          Sip Hip Hooray
          Shaving

probably forgetting others as well. Mix of bumpers, flat and un-raced fr mares. Willie has had runners in the MNH with very little experience before so wouldn’t discount the few un-raced.

Love to know more about the full sister to El Fab. If she was half the horse he was she’d be an exiting prospect. Double green looking for the next one from that family. There’s a full brother Los Polos exported to Ireland in 22 had 1 run on the flat and 1 over hurdles at auteuil where he pulled up. There’s another mare for double green the same sire as EF out of a half sister to EF (on the dam side) She ran in an Irish P2P this spring finishing second. El Fabienne

              • I did back je garde a while back, she retains the novice status has the course experience and watching it back she wasnt given a hard time of it after the second last, but she was going as well as anything coming down the hill

Same. I was actually going through my antepost bets last night and had to look up who she even was when I stumbled on that one

Must've been a guess at a Mullins second season novice.

I’ve a feeling she’ll line up and be competitive still. Long term I think she’ll a very good one.

                    • Interesting to see how the Shannon royale gets on tomorrow in his maiden hurdle over at fairyhouse tomorrow, form of his bumper win at clonmel got a nice boost by the runner up winning at punchestown Festival and was some nice quotes by jamie codd after his clonmel win, generally priced at 33s for both the balymore amd bartlett I think, and in my opinion a pretty generous (by today's standards of prices) 20s to win any race with hills, don't think its the worst bet in the world as if he fails in the graded races could always end up in a handicap at the festival.

Very nice horse although I’m not sure he’d be sharp enough for the Ballymore - the fact he’s debuting at this trip says it all. If you like Willmount then you should be a fan of this chap too based on their point race.

                          • Olly Murphy on Indeevar Bleu:

"He's the most beautiful horse you will ever see. He will start off in a two-mile maiden hurdle. He shocked me more than anyone else (when winning on debut at Wetherby) as he was a big, backward horse who needed a bit of time, and was put on the back burner.

I've trained a lot of horses for Diana and Graham Whateley, and they're unbelievable people to train for as they put no pressure on you, and they love buying unraced horses. Some work out, some don't, but it's the way they like buying their horses.

I actually took Indeevar Blue away one day and galloped him, but unfortunately the horse who was alongside him suffered a fatal injury while galloping, so he ended up not working at all.

I said to my assistant, Gerald Tumelty, that we will forget galloping him again and we'll just run him. I'll ring Graham and tell him there's been a disaster when trying to gallop him, and we will give him a run instead. If he goes and finishes mid-division then great.

Not that I have any of my bumper horses revved up first time out, but he was certainly going to the races undercooked. I was actually at Market Rasen when he ran at Wetherby, and I remember running into the bookmakers and seeing he was 11-10. I was watching with my father and I said to him this is the worst 11-10 shot you will ever see in your life, because I knew how little he had done!

Sean (Bowen) rang me afterwards and said "where have you been hiding this lad?!". He was very raw, very green, and won extremely well. Sean couldn't pull him up until halfway round the back straight, and he looks a lovely, lovely horse.

It certainly did (give me some buzz!). My bumper horses tend to run well; not because they're galloped hard, but because they see alot before they go racing. They'll have been on grass, they'll have been on a lorry four or five times, they'll have gone and galloped away from home a few times. So they've seen a bit of the world before they go racing, and my father buys a nice type of horse. This lad hadn't, though, and that's why it shocked me so much.

He's summered really well, he's schooled great and we'll start him off in a two-mile maiden hurdle at a big track somewhere. He could be a very nice horse."
