Trainer just said he’s a stayer so can see why he’s shorter for AB, but 50 with cash back ain’t the worst price I’ve seen after watching that

Worth noting that Beat The Bat ran 4 weeks ago too, whereas this is WTC's first run since his PTP this time last year.
The thing that put me off is that Nicholls has already given him wind surgery. Pleasing enough debut against a race fit horse

      • I'd like to see his next run, jumped well and got done at the end by a race fit horse. Too early to judge imo and not out of the running yet

        • that was a really nice performance from the Hendo mare just then, 2 years out very fresh but still had plenty in hand coming to the last ears pricked. Interesting to see how they go with her. Lovely big thing that will shape well over a fence you'd think

He could be but the owner also said Ballymore, on more than one occasion, so I guess it's worth taking anything he says with a pinch of salt!

Yep. Not taken any chances with him and have backed him for all three as it was unusually better value that way than my favourite TWAR route !

He's one I've kept an eye on for some time so was always looking. Drink in the pub of a previous owner of Neil Mulholland so that's where it came from.
