Not sure if it's been mentioned (probably not as not many care about RPR's), but Willmount recorded a 128 RPR for his win at Newbury.
Just for some contrast (for those who do care), Constitution Hill recorded a 150, Shishkin a 141 (first completed start) and Altior a 136 all on their respective hurdles debuts. Jonbon recorded a 137.
The above said, as is always said with RPR's they are subjective, and are liable to change as well, but even so, 128 seems a little low, even at this stage.

This time last year I was making exactly the same case against Marine Nationale running to a debut RPR of 125 (FV ran to 129 on debut) and I ended up with egg on my face

Yeah it can happen.
I like to compare previous horses from the same yard (especially the top yards), and more importantly from the same course, despite being on potentially very differing days, hence why I included Jonbon.
Jonbon & Shishkin both started at Newbury, so they would be my initial guide.
I've got Willmount backed, both for any race and the Supreme, so I'd much prefer he posted a higher figure, trust me, but he didn't.
It will be interesting to see how the rest of Nicky's run and what RPR Southoftheboarder gets for his very nice performance at Sandown yesterday.
I feel like Nicky is getting them all out before he unleashes his weapon, Jeriko Du Reponet!
Captain Teague ran to a RPR of 137 on his debut, which is much more what I'd expect from a potential festival novice hurdler.
Of course, you'll always going to get outliers, but right now, as it stands, I'd not be having Willmount as the winner of the Supreme, but I'll wait and see what performance he puts in next time to decide whether I keep him as a live ticket for the race or not.

Sound view COD. I think Jeriko Du Reponet could be the one for NH
The other that really impressed me and didn’t get the across the board short back and sides I expected was Il Est Francais.
Still available at 25-1 for the Turners and Brown Advisory.
I know there are doubts about whether he’ll make the trip.
But he’s got a British owner, is being aimed at the Kauto Star and would have a couple of months to recover from the Fez before the French Gold Cup.
Of course he’ll come over and could be very special.
Really like him but won't be backing until there's a mention of Cheltenham being part of the plan. It would have naturally rolled off the tongue to say Kauto Star, Cheltenham and French GC. So no mention means Cheltenham is not part of their plans imo.
I see Mirazur West was booked in today for another short back and sides for the Supreme
Probably a combo of brushing aside Mahon's Way on the level who won yesterday + Willie saying 'he's towards the top of the pecking order of our novice hurdlers in my eyes'
I think it’s common knowledge that ADTS had a setback. Just wondering if he was back in training or out in a field somewhere. If he were to make festival, he probably should be back in work now with a view to getting out at Xmas or new year.
