The depth plays a big part. If Ballyburn doesn't win the Supreme, but Mullins still wins 2/3 novice hurdles, it's more likely the press will be hailing him a genius than castigating for not winning a Festival race with the best novice. Bookmakers would love to clean up all the Ballyburn money on both races. It could give them one of their best ever starts to a meeting.

Last matched at 22 on the exchange and nobody waating to back at all apart from at 1000, not looking good.

        • Could this be the year Willie wins all three Novice Hurdles??

          • I think Willie had better novices in previous years, and wasnt able to win all 3
however, I think the fields are a lot weaker so he has a chance

I'd like that outcome but he wont sniff Ballyburn IMO.

                  Could happen, certainly hope so.
Probably should go in again as price still value imo

I only really have him in the BB, but I'm legit past caring - he turns up wherever he turns up and I can assess on the day. It's the month of coy skirt lifting like a demure lady in a Western I can't stand. The Cheltenham Industry effect

Couldn't agree more with this. The amount of wasted keystrokes on the topic is unbelievable. The worst thing about it is that it will carry on through the post-season and all of next season as the discussion over what Ballyburn's novice chase target will be

It'll be the Turners end of, no point debating it as not a single chance he'd stay over 2 over fences if he goes the supreme
