Bit Naughty answering that question now

Gives him two good bullets in both

And townend a good chance in both
That's how I'd see it. The exchange price has moved in that direction too.

      • He was a little deliberate at some and good at others I thought.
If he was amongst horses he may lose a little ground at times so imo would be better off in front.
His obvious engine may be enough in this Supreme to get away with any similar jumping to today.
Of course also he may improve again with his jumping.
Whatever, he’s now a definite big runner imo.

        • If Ballyburn does go to the BB, I'd be taking Tullyhill on in the supreme. And as it seems like Mistergif is going the graded route I really like him.

At first musing, that looks logical to me

Will depend on the work they do the week before though so 3 weeks of us over thinking it

What didn't impress you about that performance today?

I did like the performance, but heavy ground 3 weeks before the festival isn't for me.

                • If ballyburn doesn't run I reckon you'll get 4/1 the field on betfair exchange on the day

Mistergif jumped as well as any I’ve seen this season, but he’s going to have go go from that maiden straight to the Supreme.
He will have to be very good to do that and win.
Ive covered on the exchange, although not the huge prices some have unfortunately!!

                    • ….Mullins re Tullyhill;

Mullins said on Racing TV: "I thought he'd be one of our top novice hurdlers this year and that shoots him right back up to where we thought he would be at the start of the season and I'm very pleased that he put his jumping together. You can all see now what he's able to do.

"He has a huge, long stride and is a horse we're looking forward to over fences but I hope he can keep improving now and I'd imagine he might go to the Supreme Novices' now, to me that performance was good enough as I know there was a lot thought of a couple of horses that were in behind him."

                      • That should be it now for the novice hurdle trials. All we need now are the final Willie work outs and of course the perennial injury scare to one of the top notches. Groundhog day.

                        • I haven’t bothered looking at all the potential runners but could we have a supreme with only one 3 time hurdle winner in the entire field? I wonder how often that happens.

                          • Would Tullyhill really nudge g1 2m winner Ballyburn to the other race?

Yeah today was a much improved performance, but he had it ALL his own way, and 1 or 2 clearly not intent on getting too close today. I'd say Tullyhill would be Dannys ride in the race

                            • McManus down to 2 darts now and with jeriko only entered Supreme, hopefully Mystical will step up. He also looks made for it and Ballyburn looks made for the supreme, although obviously you’d fancy him to win either. Did I ever mention how much I hate Willies bingo?

                                Booster Bob wins all

You have to back that, surely.
