    He also said that Slade Steel will go Ballymore whatever happens. Happy with that.

      Interesting that Ruby knows more than the trainer

      What Ruby Walsh says on a PaddyPower podcast should be at the absolute bottom of the 'useful' list.... I'd have it below "owner fancies own horse"

      No way he's on that trying to help any punters out

        Think he's just basing it on his own feelings and what he's seen of him not from any word from HDB. He knows a bit more about horses than us Kev and that is a fact.

          Maybe that’s what he should actually say then
          Rather than say it as a fact

                  Hahaha, I’m not 100% either
                  I know what I mean though

                    Loads of people know more than me about horses, even yourself.

                    Doesn't mean you make more money though

                    • Had to do a double take, but Gaucher is entered at Navan on Sunday! And at Naas over 2m3 on the Saturday too.

                      • Ballyburn posts a monster pre-Cheltenham RPR of 158, which must be up there with ratings for novice hurdlers before the festival.

                          Il Etait Temps got 157 for winning the same race last year

                          • ….Jango Baie runs Thurs;

                            “We’re going two-mile-three with him this time and it’s a slight step up (in trip), he was around Aintree over two last time,” said Henderson.

                            “I thought he was finishing that race very strongly, so I wanted to have a look at him around two and a half just to see. He’s in both the Supreme and the Baring Bingham (at the Cheltenham Festival) come March.

                            “The owner has both Jango Baie and Jingko Blue – and I’ll put the wrong horse in a race someday soon – and the other horse won very nicely at Sandown on Saturday.”

                            • Jingko has only ever been 2 1/2 so highly likely Jango will go Supreme imo. The race this week fits nicely though.

                                That was my thinking too. Owner doesn't have many so will split them and can't see both trying a new trip at the festival.
