Was hoping to see how DDL would fare after his run last time when he clearly hated the ground.
Looks like the ground today though will not suit either, plus the professionals that would have been available are on outsiders(according to odds), and DDL has the amateur!!
So all that Hope pretty much gone.
Anyway, let’s see what happens and if he can still turn up
in the Supreme.
He’s still one I would be very interested in on nice festival ground.

Ooft, that was very good from Ballyburn. Was pretty set on him being a Ballymore horse before, considerably less sure now. Definitely the stand out novice either way.
Willie's comments will be interesting (and undoubtably not interesting at the same time)

As a ballburn and Slade steel backer I'd say that went pretty well
Be interesting to see what Willie says
Ballyburn would win both the Supreme and ballymore
I'd still favour the ballymore because of his pedigree
Supreme from the front if its very soft ground
Slade steel looks a proper 2m4f horse who didn't quite have the gears of ballyburn but looks a very nice horse
He'd have a live chance in the ballymore if ballyburn goes supreme

Definitely wins wherever he goes, but given Slade Steel has finished a comfortable 2nd suggests the Irish 2milers aren't all that
Although he did win well.
Personally think he’s probably fav wherever he goes, but certainly not a definite winner.
