Yes. Hurdles definitely look to have improved him and clearly connections like him a lot in view of the Royal Bond entry.

        Who on earth offered 9/4?

Saw the midweek 'expected odds' and it was 6/5 I think.

        • Didn't Spectre get 3/1 according to his tiktoks earlier in week when participation was in doubt? Has to be a watching price now though at the odds...

          • Opened 6/5 first show, anything bigger than that was antepost, either way irrelevant if not quoting at the time.

May have been Hills? They are nearly always first to price up. Thought 9/4 was short

              • It'll certainly be a good test for CT and the Bumper form. The mare ran Sandor Clegane to a close second at the Punchestown Festival but the one I think might give him most trouble is Cold Sobar who will appreciate the rain and has travelled from Selkirk which is a tip in itself. He looks sure to be in the money. A very interesting race.

                • He's a big baby of a thing. Didn't jump fluently, one big mistake, but cruised into it.

                  • Cruising speed definitely looks to be there so a nice enough nod to the Bumper, but CT's jumping has a good bit of brushing up to do. One of those races that offers something to those on both sides of the fence.

                    • Aye, mixed performance but he's clearly got a good engine. One or two very sketchy jumps mind. Enough to work on.

                      • Thought that was ok for a debut over hurdles.
Yes can certainly improve his jumping but more experience can provide that.
                        I like him.

                        • Nicholls, unsurprisingly, earmarks the Challow for him in the medium term.

                          • Decent boost for the questionable bumper form over past few days with CT there and the Fascile Mode win in the week.

Like everyone else has said got a bit of work to do with his jumping but the engine is there. Does scope of the clich? anything he does this year is a bonus blah blah.

Paul just there saying doesn't wanna over work him this year, excuses in early for no festival appearance then

One more run then the Challow he's just said as likely plans

                            • Good enough to win the Challow and as a consequence.. finish out the back of telly in the Ballymore
