Just out of interest, not just to you here FF, what are people’s current views on which is the easier race on paper, Supreme or Ballymore?

As it stands in the Supreme you've got the Royal Bond winner (who potentially could have won the Tolworth as well), the Moscow Flyer winner (although I'd be wary of the form of that race), plus you've got the a few more who have the potential to kick on from their debuts, the likes of Jeriko Du Reponet, No Flies On Him, Daddy Long Legs (if you believe the ground excuse for LTO), Slade Steel (could go for the Ballymore though), and coming up you have the key trial for the Supreme at the DRF. Horses like Firefox & Ile Atlantique could also find some better form dropping back to 2m, the former of which we know will as his trainer has said so.
The Ballymore consists of a Lawlors Of Naas winner (which has question marks surrounding it, IMO), Ballyburn if he turns up, but could go Supreme should he win well at the DRF, and Gidleigh Park. Notable mention to Slade Steel who could also come here. Caldwell Potter may also come here though whether he even turns up to the festival is an unknown currently. Everything else in behind is pretty ordinary, IMO.

That's what Willie said

I'd imagine he will go straight to the Supreme
And what happens at the drf will determine what else goes there and to the ballymore

Ballymore for me, by a fair way.

I know there is still a big part of the puzzle which will hopefully become clearer in the next 2 weekends.
I suppose I am looking at it from a Ballyburn perspective really, as I think he’ll run in what looks the weakest on paper.

Patrick Mullins, assistant to Willie Mullins, was pleased with the performance of Mystical Power, a son of the yard's Champion Hurdle heroine Annie Power, at Punchestown but thinks the Closutton camp will know more about their novice plans at Cheltenham following next week's Dublin Racing Festival.
He said: "Mystical Power was very impressive at Punchestown and seems to be improving with every run, like his mother did. He would look an ideal candidate for the race.
"A lot of our other entries have multiple options and we'll know more after the Dublin Racing Festival."
