The Muhaarar x Galileo same as A Dream To Share.

Will certainly be of interest IF he can jump.

That one could be of interest given he's in the early stages of his career and progressing more steeply than an older horse.

      • They must think he will be a good money spinner over hurdles as he could've been sold to Australia or Hong Kong for a tidy sum

            • Captain Teague been declared for a 2m 3f novice hurdle on Friday.

Believe PN has previous of dropping one back in trip for the Supreme, but the initial reaction of the entry would be Ballymore seems more likely.

It's no easy task first up. The Skelton horse could be anything (and had the benefit of a seasonal run already too), and then you've got plenty in behind with tons more experience, albeit rated low enough, that said their ratings are of little relevance because the majority seem to be on the improve and ceilings not yet reached.

Al Ferof got beat in the Challow over 2m4f then won a 2m3f novice hurdle in a canter at Taunton before ending up in the Supreme, so yeah, he does have previous, for sure

Aye, not going to lie I just got the email notification and posted the basics.

Only just seen it's the Persian War. Straight into a Grade 2!

As you say plenty of experienced and improving c. 130 rates hurdlers. And the Skelton unknown with fitness advantage.

Would be a decent enough test for sure first up. For all its one he'd want to be winning to feature in a festival grade 1. Win today markets

I'm not sure that's true is it.

I think the sore shins thing is public knowledge and a link has been drawn to a preference for soft ground from there but PN continually saying he needs soft. Can't say as I've noticed that.

Yes perhaps lobos could share the quote as like you I remember the quote talking about sore shins. Lobos is a legend I truly mean that but has so much previous when it comes to rewording quotes or treating his own interpretation as fact. Most of us have come to take it with a pinch of salt now but for those less familiar I would strongly advise that if the actual quote is not provided check for yourself.

Edit…to be clear I am not saying he hasn’t said it but produce the quotes lobos…they shouldn’t be too hard to find as he is continuously saying it

100% mate - the way I look at it too.

Yep spot on. I do the same with odds on players in the early rounds of the darts world champs. I haven’t got the actual proof but I’d be very surprised if the odds on success rate wasn’t significantly higher than it is for horses.

                              • I posted one in roll ups thread few months ago - Shamrock Rovers to win League Of Ireland (football). I think I've got in about 50 dockets, rarely a sweat ..8/13 down to 1/3 ... they are a great tool.
