He got lit up by the loose horse running up along the rail inside him fairly early on. It totally unsettled him. I’d prefer to see him left handed again personally but happy to sit tight on my bets for the time being. Think we’ll see plenty of improvement if the fixture beats the frost.

Nicky Henderson's Supreme Novices' second favourite Jeriko Du Reponet will continue to follow the Shishkin route to the Cheltenham Festival, with the trainer nominating the Sidney Banks Memorial Novices' Hurdle at Huntingdon next month to put the finishing touches to the unbeaten five-year-old.
During the 2019-20 season Shishkin ran twice over hurdles at Newbury, falling at the second and then winning by 11 lengths, before beating the Dan Skelton-trained Shan Blue by the same distance in the Sidney Banks at Huntingdon on route to his first festival triumph.

Henderson intending to follow shishkin supreme route with JDR
There's no mention of the supreme in the article or anything that swings him that way either.

Jeriko Du Reponet has won both of his starts at Newbury this season and Henderson is keen to go to Huntingdon's meeting on February 8.
"We've been struggling to find a race for Jeriko Du Reponet, but we're looking at the Sidney Banks," said Henderson. "He's a fine horse."
Like i said, utter bollocks

As Shishkin ran in the Supreme I’m not sure it needs to be mentioned?
Hes following the Sidney Banks route to Cheltenham.
That ended up in the Supreme.
Simple as that ain’t it ?
Incidentally…..has any connections ever mentioned the Ballymore for Jeriko?Last edited by Carnage at Taunton; 17 January 2024, 07:42 PM.

Aye, he is following the route Shishkin took to the Supreme. But doesn't mean he'll necessarily be running in it himself. I see your problem with it but I'm not sure the headline is incorrect. Although I may need to read it with a clear head
JDR runs in the Supreme if good enough though anyway. Surely! If he runs like a stayer in the Sidney Banks and ends up in the Ballymore then he's probably not good enough for either race anyway tbh.
