Mirazur west not got an entry at DRF, because he’s still a maiden, and timings of races.
doesn’t mean he’s not a supreme horse. Just light the blue touch paper on Thursday next week
Sir Gerhard was a good winner of the 2m race at the DRF, and went to the Ballymore.
I know the race has changed somewhat, but when it was 2m2f Bacardys won it and went Ballymore too. I'd say, nothing is a given with Willie. I'm just hoping, more than anything else, that Ballyburn goes Ballymore.
Depends if he has a stand out for the supreme though, doesn't it ? - He had Dysart (a decent enough dart) that year as you'll know.
He has nothing at present.
The only grade one/two winner he might have for that probably runs Sunday, and as mentioned earlier, he's owned by Mcmanus, so clouds the picture further.

He still has Daddy Long Legs (ground was ridiculous the last day), Mirazur West (needs to bounce back from debut) and even It's For Me (who could go straight there provided he recovers). Also, if he wins the Moscow Flyer (as you note) with one of his, despite it being an abysmal race, they will likely end up in the Supreme also. He has more Supreme darts still as potentials than he does Ballymore, IMO.

Yeh someone else made this point but Willie had far more novice hurdle strength and depth in 2022 than he does this year. He had DD as a Supreme favourite and the challenge here (CH and Jonbon) looked strong so going Ballymore with SG made sense. The majority of willies 2m DRF winners go Supreme (Il Etait Temps, Appreciate It, Asterion Forlonge, Klassical Dream, Vautour) and when they don't, like SG or Bacardys, its normally because Willie has the favourite for the Supreme (eg, Facile Vega and Melon). Barring perhaps Redemption Day I cant see what is going to be Willies Supreme horse and its a race that looks as weak as the one Appreciate It won. Ballyburn Ballymore backers basically need something to take this division by the scruff of the neck because at the moment the supreme looks like some tasty low hanging fruit.

Yep, depends on today's race, Sunday, and then Dublin.
Hoping Daddy Long Legs smashes them all in Dublin to be fair.
If Firefox wins today then it franks the form with Ballyburn and connections of the latter may be more inclined to avoid a rematch, with Firefox likely to go Ballymore. In which case Ballyburn may well go Supreme.
If Ile Atlantique wins then it shows Mullins has a strong contender at 2 1/2m who has beaten Firefox, which again would then point to Ballyburn going Supreme.
It's odds on one of these two win today (Not that I agree with it) and with both possibilities it points towards Ballyburn going the shorter trip at Cheltenham.
Could always bet the double if you have a preference and want to get some cover on Ballyburn for Supreme.
