I don't think that would make sense as he's mentioned Croke for lawlors publicly saying naas would suit.

If he was their intended runner, I'd expect the 2 of them to be flipped pricewise myself

            • I think he may wait for the Moscow Flyer for one if his and then skip Dublin to keep the dream alive a bit.

All the Willie horses that got beat on reappearance seem to be entered up

Ballyburn, fact to file, tullhill, enola etc

Be interesting to see how they've come on for the run

You'd imagine tullyhill has been doing a lot of schooling

On a line through Shannon Royale who’s a windy Martin Pipe prospect at best it’s more than schooling he needs.

It's far too easy to just look at the massive trainers now and dismiss anything from a smaller yard - guilty of it myself and understandable to a certain degree

I just think every now and again one of these trainers that are clearly talented get something above average/good and it gets dismissed. Giddy Park (as I'll now call him) has been better than any UK novice I've seen so far. I'm trying so hard not to say "if he was trained by blah blah" .... but Harry Fry is not a trainer to ignore. Had enough proper ones through his hands.

Wasn't the first to jump on him on here - and AaronLad needs the credit, win/lose/draw from this point ...... as just being first to mention a high profile Mullins/Elliott horse is great and useful but if whoever if 'first' doesn't, someone else is right there behind to do it

Apart from Firefox, I think Gidleigh Park should be fav...... he's 16/1 the same as Mirazur West for the Ballymore..... the ante post game has changed and if they're the same price we jsut have to get better

He may well do a Willie and run both to see where they sit

You're quite right about this horse being underestimated, for yesterdays race he opened up at least 7/4 with b365 (first odds that I saw), with east india express (unbeaten Hendo novice) installed as the fav. This quickly corrected itself however. Clearly this was a case of the odds compiler looking at the trainer and the 1's next to his name rather than the form i'd say. (This isn't me after timing a bet on him, just highlighting the clear bias shown towards bigger trainers).

I may have mentioned him first somewhere, but hey kev what does that matter, as long as we're collecting on him in march!!! Of course it's nice when your opinion looks like it might be right, but let's not forget authorised speed from last season, we'll get it wrong more times than we get it right i'm sure.

The best uk novice so far? I'm not so sure kev, Minella missile has achieved more and has looked mighty impressive to my eye. He Has the perfect ingredients for the bartlett, and i'm almost certain evan williams will get it right.

                              • Gidleigh Park awarded an RPR of 135 for yesterday's facile victory - 4lb below Minella Missile's RPR when winning the Hyde Novices' Hurdle at HQ.
