I'd say unlikely tbh. Nicky seems fine having more than one good one in the Supreme and seems happy getting one on the board early. JB wouldn't interest me at all tbh

JB is interesting to me and I’ve backed him ages ago, but I am wondering if all is ok with him? Not ran for a while. Was entered today but got taken out.

Yes because he’s going to run in the Tolworth I assume. Only entry for Nicky.

He's running in the grade 1 novice at Aintree on the 26th. Rematch against Tellherthename.

He’s entered, hope he runs this time.

With DLL myself so that's not what I want to see.

Did well to win on debut but I didn't particularly like him. Did loads wrong and it wasn't just being keen, didn't like his head carriage, awkward jumper at times and just looked a bit of a handful. More than entitled to improve and he is entered in the Tolworth which is a good sign, although Nicky's openly bashed the race being there so I wouldn't read too much into that meaning JB is at the top of Nicky's novice pecking order, but, if he won that well and ironed out those novice mistakes he comes into the equation for sure.

Think it simply confirms he's Gordon's intended runner at this point and the mare and firefox are not likely to run.

Yep, he did do a lot wrong, but still managed to win, and the runner up won very easily next time. He’s another I like as an outsider.
Yes he has to improve his performance but be very interesting if he does.
Im willing to forgive novices early on as they are learning, especially if price appeals.
Will see how much he’s learnt in the Tolworth.

I see your point but even so he's not a 6/4 shot in the remaining field. Although he has always been the fav.

That won;t be the field though, but I get what you're saying, but they always do this sort of thing, unless Mullins decides to send nothing to the race I'd be surprised if he's any shorter.

                          • Could do with Down Memory Lane looking like a Ballymore horse there to be honest. So would like a decent enough field to test him

With the betting now saying DML will be the Future Champs runner, that leaves Firefox for the Lawlors, and Gordons Ballymore horse so DML will slot into the Supreme bracket giving him a solid chance in the 2 novice races you'd imagine... Providing both obviously prove to be upto class.

That's not what the heart wants I'm afraid... But maybe it now makes sense as a double I don't have.
