Yes, you are of course entitled to your opinions, and I have no doubt that Dan is a talented trainer, but I do think it a bit of a stretch to say that two of the best and most successful trainers we have ever seen would not see him for dust on equal money terms.
Not sure that was necessary, and imo a tad disrespectful.
I think it's the 'in my opinion' bit that you've ignored. If we didn't have opinions this forum wouldn't exist.

And how it's disrespectful I really don't know. I doubt that either Paul Nicholls or Nicky Henderson would care one jot.

As Q says, I'd suggest we move on.

When's he running next anyway ? Spectre and crew
He'll have a few days off now Q, and we'll make a plan next week I'd imagine.

I did say …… you are of course entitled to your opinion so did not ignore that.
Ok, you don’t know why I thought it disrespectful.
        Yep, move on.

He's got an exposed 10 year old going to Ben Haslam. He's the only other trainer bar Skelton that he'd consider.

Long time lurker, virgin poster on this account. I have been following the FJ forum for years and when I did have something of value to add, which was rare, I forgot my login details and couldn't reset the password. Anyways here we are.

Hello to all and a big thanks to Paul for the opportunity to get involved in the early days of his, s̶o̶o̶n̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶b̶e̶, very successful venture

I have been indirectly involved in winners before, have a few in other small syndicates, but yesterday was what I can call my own 1st winner. Those that have, will know that feeling some of us felt yesterday, for those that haven't, I suggest keeping an eye on Spectre Racing for future opportunities .

I look forward to posting more and even moreso looking forward to the next race, all going well.

It can't get better, can it? Glad to be part of the journey.

Good timing GV. I'll have some news on that tomorrow!

                  • The best mention I can give connections is I firmly got the impression down the back straight Harry was giving him an educational ride with a view to a future target but he was constantly taking him into the race at every jump with ease despite Harry’s efforts to restrain.

He’s the type of horse that just pings one & is eyeing up his next straight away. Didn’t matter what kind of a stride he met them on he got from A to B with so much ease. I can only imagine how exciting he must be now looking forward for yourselves.

Yep, thought similar, he was taking a pull throughout.
                      Looks a 150 horse minimum.

Think his jumping prowess may mean Paul & Dan may have an unexpected welcomed decision re: graded class/handicap route to take!

With some horses there’s just no hiding their ability when they’ve zest for fencing like Protektorat & Third Time Lucki.

Wowwwww can't believe what I'm reading here. The worst kind of person. So completely unnecessary, could have just ignored it and moved on, instead got offended on two other people's behalf he doesn't even know.

Smacks of jealousy and/or just one of those people who hates to see anyone else enjoying life and being excited about something. Anyone with any level of emotional intelligence would have just let them enjoy their moment. Well done Taunton you got your attention you were seaking.
