Then I look at the fact that Henry could be Aidan's one for Group 1s over 7F or 1M like

    ● The Dewhurst
    ● Jean Luc Lagardere
    ● Vertem Futurity Trophy

So I've covered him for the 2000 Guineas too, as a back up to City of Troy bets.

So got City Of Troy and Henry Longfellow as my two picks for both the 2000 Guineas and the Derby.

….suspect you’ve posted this in the wrong thread, Saxon.

Just to clarify, I'm not necessarily against the horse, but the inevitable price collapse that is going to come in September / October will be tough to justify given what we know he's going to be up against vs beating Sole Pretender 5 lengths.

Mister Policeman 20-1 Arkle (365 & Sky, cut overnight by PP/BFSB & Others); Initially proposed by Istabraq & later by Zachx02. Very impressive win in France before moving to W Mullins & winning again. Plenty of support for him on here ahead of a debate on whether the Turners might be more likely but we then got a quite definite steer from Spectre re Arkle. In his diary Hurricane fly suggested he might be a ‘talking horse’ but let’s get him included just in case.

Gala Marceau 12-1 Mares Hurdle (generally available); I think it was Saxon Warrior who said it’s encouraging her best performance came at the end of a busy season when stepped up in trip in France. He said she’s ‘a good safe one at 12-1’ and a number of other FJs like her a lot.

Good Land 20-1 Turners (widely available); Nominated by Lobos who seems particularly sweet on his chances. Plenty of trainer quotes indicate how well he’s thought of and the intention of going chasing next season. Mid-trip seems likely and with IEP supposedly staying over hurdles, then the Turners might cut up a bit. Said to be unwell when running a solid race in Ballymore. If this one hits the target I will accept all the plaudits but if he fails miserably it’s the fault of Lobos.

Gaelic Warrior 5-1 Stayers (widely available); There was a few suggestions for the Stayers, mainly Marie’s Rock but it was Spectre who said 5-1 GW might look a ‘gift of a price’ for a horse that could win the next 3 Stayers. We know Middle_Of_March loves his ‘Gaelic Certainty’ so he will be a popular selection with many.
A huge thumbs up from me this one. I really really like it.

Gaelic Cert anchoring it in the stayers is music to my ears too. Absolutegod given certainty and the goodest of Cheltenham good things.

The above prices are with 365 cash-out. The Acca is 28,664-1.
Gutted about Good Land. Thought this was a great Yankee at the time. I assume with Good Land now a likely Non Runner the Yankee becomes a Trixie with the other three horses and not a Void/Lost bet ? So still hope.

Yep, if you played yankee then it becomes a trixie, If you played Lucky 15 it becomes a patent…
