Good to point out that those with Sky accounts could do the above bet with CH the 'Any Race' horse. He's currently 1-2 which is very fair indeed. That takes the risk out of not knowing which way CH will go and whatever race he does turn up in he's very likely to go off a lot shorter than 2's on. The other 3 are nigh on certainties to go the same routes again. Sky are also biggest about the other 3 as well .

    ACCA odds 642.5/1

I think Saxon Warrior believes she’ll end up in the Mares hurdle, either way whilst your point is valid 3m on good ground at Aintree is a very different proposition to 3m around Cheltenham three weeks earlier…

What is Global Citizen being aimed at I wonder.... Having now looked at the Grand Annual he won it in 2022 and was 3rd last year behind the aforementioned Maskada and Dinoblue so he seems to save his form for (or certainly be targeted at) Cheltenham... I can't see him listed in any chase race for 2023 so far... Any ideas? Assuming he isn't fast/good enough for Arkle or Champ Chase. The Hunters, RSA and NHC are too long, so it is Turners (Again, maybe not good enough?) or another handicap season so a pop at the Grand Annual again or the Plate?

Please bite. I am interested and, if I am way off, I have thick skin. Did it die/retire/go to stud or something?

I think he’ll be due his pension by the time spring ‘24 comes around.

He'll be 12 next year and rated below 140 and is not a novice.

Which makes your post (and list of "possible" targets) appear very ill informed at best and may come across to some as troll like.

Having not twigged and realised by now your obvious mistake - It looks more troll like.
If this is not the case then it would be worrisome for your prospects when antepost betting on the festival.
Maybe a cautious approach is best, or maybe even stop for a while so that more knowledge can be gathered.

                Haha.

Thank you both for the very gentle bites. I have to say, the age did strike me but like an idiot i said it all anyway. I assure you it was no troll. Pure uneducated opinion. I guess him placing last year was as surprising as Sire Du Berlais in the stayers?

Anyway. This reminds me of an old adage about speaking in public.

It is a fine line between staying quiet and looking dumb and opening your mouth and proving it!

To be fair he is the owner of what appears to be a very solid book judging by his diary…

Most look solid at this stage.
                            And I disagree, big time.
