    I think it was Lobos who put Premier Magic up, it’s not a division I’m mad keen on this far out but he looks a solid enough pick and you could argue there’s some juice in his price.
    I’d be fairly sure Maxxum will head to the NH Chase and the fact Elliott had him out over fences so early suggested he wanted to get experience into the horse, I guess if he disappoints/falls short then they could look at the Kim Muir but all things considered I think NH Chase is the obvious route…

    • We could keep PM in the pocket for next months returning winners Diamond Geezer yankee.

      • I'm split between Premier Magic and Envoi Allen as they both have certain targets which is a huge plus. Both very good prices for returning champs.

        • Maxxum for me out of those, second preference for good land

          • ….it’s very much based on a steer from MoM, I’m suggesting the following final selections for the May Yankee;

            Gala Marceau 12-1 (MH)
            Maxxum 25-1 (NHC)
            Nick Rockett 25-1 (BANC)
            Brighterdaysahead 10-1 (MNH)

            Acca 96,667-1

            Prices with Bet365 (cash-out).

            • Well done Eggs and Middle_Of_March.
              Tuff job Eggs but we had to move and get on with the next Yankee.

              • Evening all. Firstly, apologies for going MIA. You all know I like to give the Yankee threads a lot of attention and re-read it before posting but I just haven’t been able to get on here at all of late. Being a night owl can have it’s benefits but in times of crisis, it’s easy at night to lay there thinking through all your problems and how little you can affect them. I had actually been studying for Epsom for Friday as a distraction last week and thought I would be able to read this thread again and post up on the journey home after racing. But then my stuff got in the way on the way home. Said stuff is now causing me similar issues and I just haven’t got the time/concentration for here that the Yankees deserve until I can sort things out elsewhere. Been a rough couple of weeks frankly. No idea where it all ends.

                Thankfully as was the case a couple of years ago when I took a break from social media for 10 weeks (and thus also became places like FJ too), Eggs is an excellent help with these and if anything ever does happen to me, he’s the man for the job. I do appreciate him stepping in back then and here. As it goes, he was bang on and those first three were exactly who I was going with based on the how the thread had gone until that point.

                What I can say is I’m heading up North for 11 days in mid June (the time off is needed for me in all honesty) which may sort a couple of things out. If all becomes brighter, I’d probably be back around ascot week and would post the Yankee up thereafter at the end of the month but in the chance I’m not back until July or later, hopefully Eggs is happy stepping in. I’m more than happy for any theme to be decided. Whatever you can think of really in these summer months.

                Until then, keep safe all.

There was mixed views on A Dream to Share (Sup) & IEP (Turners), mainly over uncertainty of target. Impervious (Ryanair) is popular but it was pointed out he’s included in a previous Yankee so I suggest we go with one of the following;

                  Good Land 20-1 (Turners); nominated by BigChaang & supported by others. Trainer has apparently confirmed he goes Chasing over mid-trip.

                  Maxxum 25-1 (NHC); nominated by Istabraq & supported by others. Already meets the distance qualification criteria even if it wasn’t the most impressive round of jumping.

                  Envoi Allen 10-1 (Ryanair); nominated by Lobos, target seems clear and a decent price for a returning Champion.

                  Premier Magic 12-1 (Hunter Chase); another returning champion this time nominated by BagOfHammers. Not all firms have this priced up but PP/Sky offer 12-1.

                  Hope I’m not being presumptuous but we need to sort this. If you’re happy with the approach, I suggest we go with one of the above four as our final selection. Let’s have your votes.
                  I'm happy to do this one or any other , who ever decides the final selections . .

                        Take care of yourself Middle_Of_March - there's bigger things in life than horse racing/antepost.

                        Hopefully you can enjoy your break in June & things are on the up.

                          Hope all is well, with Eggs at the helm the yankees are in good hands.
                          Hard to be confident but I really like the look of this one so if you do find time make sure you get those four on the same betslip and hit ‘place bet’.
                          Best wishes…

Looking down the betting, the one that stood out for me was Energumene at 20s. If El Fabiolo continues his upward trajectory, I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that Townend and Mullins will split the two and take home both trophies rather than one. Appreciate that it might be a bit too speculative for the Yankee
                              Not taking anything away from Spectre (he posted it in the correct, related doubles thread ) but I knew there had been discussion about El Fabiolo for the QMCC and Energumene for the Ryanair, previously

                              It was at this point I had started chucking some freebies on Energumene for the Ryanair as his price was most certainly generous enough.
