  • Jeez Paul’s ridden that with confidence. Reminded me of his County win. Never looked ideally situated and didn’t care if he won by a neck or half the track.

    • Fair play to state man, 9th grade 1 and only a 7yo, could end up in mid teens by time he's finished

      • He is a brilliant horse. Very consistent. Paul always has great confidence in him. Freshen him up for Punchestown now.

            11 from 13 over hurdles

            One fall
One loss to the greatest hurdler of all time

Great horse in his own right and you'd expect he will mop up the irish grade 1s next season too

            • And following today's trends with the G1s, State Man beating Irish Point is another of the top 2 RPRs, coming home, although it was a bit obvious.

While RPRs are not your sole go to, they should be part of your arsenal. Let's see how they go on over the week.

Hopefully we get to witness a few more clashes over the next couple of seasons between state man and con hill

We need a race that gets con Hill to the 180 rating he deserves definitely
