To place both those races could be the bet.

    • De Bromhead has said that Bob will take his chance in the Champion Hurdle.

My thinking was if they try something different with state man to try and beat constitution hill then bob could possibly pick up the pieces and grab second.

          • Lossiemouth now the ante post favourite for the International Hurdle at Cheltenham with Impaire Et Passe going out for it

The 10/1 NRNB each way in the without Constitution Hill market is someting I think is well worth a poke.

It'll be very interesting if she takes up the entry Saturday and wins the thing. She'll surely go Churdle then.

Yep, I agree, she probably would.

Has Ricci got anything else he can run in the Mares Hurdle??

No, but obviously Willie has plenty of options.

Intriguing stuff. They do see her as a Champion Hurdle horse for next year but this year? As you say though, Willie will probably win the Mares Hurdle without her anyway if that's the route they take. Going to be a big shake up in the markets whatever.

I have to say I think there’s absolutely no chance she’s going champion hurdle this year. She’d be going for 3rd place at best. If she wins on sat and beats love envoi that will just cement her at the top of the mares hurdle market beating last years 2nd.

Constitution Hill injury would put her in it, so not no chance, but I agree that even if she wins at the weekend she'd still go for the Mares.

I'd love them to be ballsy and try it though .... but that isn't the Willie-way

If she bolted up Saturday showing a real turn of foot then maybe they'd consider it. Depends what Ricci wants to do and how the other two Mares perform at Donny as well. Everything is possible.

Is Gala Marceau an intended runner in Doncaster?

Don't know. It's Willie we are talking about. All 3 will probably stay at home knowing him.
