    I'll vote "not bad".

And Tonto's Spirit beats him in a match race
4 runs, 3 wins and a head 2nd. I'm downgrading spectacular to excellent.

I feel your pain mate. I was thinking the same. I'm out now.

I've just backed Love Envoi, I can see Con Hill being pulled, already soft/heavy in place in the going at sandown, rained today and forecast aint great
        I'll take the risk

Brave call, but it is called gambling!!
As he’s ran and won at Sandown on heavy Im hoping he turns up and puts on a show.

Yeah, I thought about it alot. Went with Bet365, so should be able to cash out still is Con Hill turns up
But with Kempton being 3-4 weeks away, proper heavy ground, I can just see Henderson bypassing it. Yeah, Con Hill ran at Sandown in poor ground but, that was his second run over hurdles and didnt have all of the attention and pressure that comes with him now

            • tbh, not sure whether 4/1 with the risk involved, to win this weekend, or 10/1 to win the mares is better
I know the latter would be the better bet, but hey yo, that would be the boring option lol

Yep, good to have cash out option.
It may be a difficult call for Hendo, run this week or wait till Kempton, and there’s no guarantee that Kempton won’t be affected by the weather.
Be interesting to see how it all pans out.

It'll be just over 2 weeks between the races not 3-4 so a difficult decision

Or to clarify minds, 3 weeks today to the King George and the start of both Leopardstown and Limerick as well as the Welsh Grand National thrown in later in the week. Almost as exciting as the Festival.

                      • Just skip this weekend and go Kempton, Cheltenham & Punchestown. Save him so he is at his peak for the Spring.

                          • Might as well just bang him over a fence now, the plans are ruined. No chance in the Champion Hurdle off this prep!
