6/4 on Paddy Power on the champ hurdle…..

Not me. Stick to 4/7 TWAR.

Any link to this being discussed Bollinger ?

      • No link Darlo, which would conclusively prove I have no evidence, but they were just summing up the day’s racing and Hugh inferred to Jane Mangan the word was out, with which she concurred.
        Was schooled on Tuesday morning.

I guess in the industry word gets out fairly quickly, especially with a horse of his nature. It only takes a single whatsapp message and 2 hours later you’ve got 200 messages going back & forth.

Unibet shortened in the afternoon for the champ hurdle from 7/4 into 11/8 - Seven Barrows yard sponsor. On Sunday morning at 06.34, he was 7/4, which shows the timing of my bet, despite the Oddschecker rick.

        • But why is he shortest with Unibet for the Arkle Bollinger??

Still 2nd longest for Champion Hurdle as well .

Anyone else on here happen to be watching RTE today? I'm a little wary, as I'm positive this kind of news would have started flying around on Twitter and there's no such peep.

I'm sure RoadToCheltenham would have been right on it

              • Well guys, I have nothing left to say. It’s not like it was ‘categoric’, it was just before the finishing credits, Hugh Cahill talking about the season in general for 2 milers in general, touched upon Con Hill’s season, then suggesting ‘It’ll be long odds on he’ll be staying hurdling next year won’t he Ruby?”, at which point Jane Mangan just inferred, if I need to temper this, with the suggestion that Tuesday’s schooling hadn’t quite been as impressive as they were hoping.

So I’ll end my personal input here for now here by saying it’s what I’ve seen with my own eyes. Whether anything more concrete starts to appear in the next few days, I guess we’ll find out.

                • We'll certainly hear about it tomorrow . They'll not keep that to themselves about the biggest talking horse this century.

I caught the end of the segment and I will need to rewatch it but I thought he was just talking out of his arse Hugh?

He wouldn't exactly be mixing in the echelons of horse racing he’s a cross sports commentator and racing has been 2nd to most of his work

going to rewatch it now and see

                    • We won’t be hearing about it tomorrow at all Lobos, I’d be confident of that.

But we will be hearing about it in due course, whatever the decision.

With regards his ante post price for the Arkle Lobos, he’s 11/8 v the 6/4 for the Arkle.

                      This from his yard’s sponsors.

Agreed, and it wasn’t Ruby (my mistake, apologies) - it was McNamara.

But those words were definitely uttered and Mangan definitely concurred. Swift, but possibly telling.

                        • Just as an aside, Henderson did say in an interview immediately after Aintree that horses need to make a certain ‘shape’ jumping a fence, and inferred that with Con’ Hill’s exceptional slick hurdling, he might not get away with it over a fence.
