…..all it says ‘if CH doesn’t run all bets will be void’.

    • Or of course he doesn't win then it's a lose lose bet.

State Man only beat him 3L in 'that' County Hurdle

        • Trying my best to find some sort of betting angle in the race for who’s going to grab 3rd spot. This is how I see the field lining up atm, well won’t be far off

          CH
          Stateman
          Luccia
          Not So Sleepy
          Echoes in rain
          Colonel Mustard
          First street

I’m struggling to make a strong case for any of them coming 3rd. Obviously Irish point would be the one but the market vibes atm are indicating he’ll be running in the stayers. I know Gordon has suggested Pied piper going for handicaps again but I’d be running him here instead especially if they don’t send Irish point. Might be worth a few quid ew NRNB obviously. Can anyone make a decent case for anything else?

          • Think connections have said EIR going for Mares Hurdle?
I do hope Robcour see sense and don't waste a super Stayers bullet and run Irish Point for 3rd place in this. Would be a ridiculous decision. Can't understand why they took Bob out ???

Zanahiyr could still turn up here, despite having a chase campaign recently. He started the season off over hurdles and it's not as if he's set the world alight over fences.

Willie said if there’s only 5 or 6 runners then the champion hurdle will be considered

Really good shout COD, the 66/1 NRNB is not to be sniffed at. If he goes here he’ll likely be 3rd in the betting and if he doesn’t then no harm done

TBF someone else mentioned him a while back, so I'm just piggybacking that post

I actually backed him in the w/o market at 33/1 with Bet365, just in case something happened to State Man. Paddy Power have only priced him up @ 12's in the w/o market.

                    • Ruby suggested Zarak the Brave is likely to run here too. Could even end up being 3 places on the day.

                      • Just a horrible race to bet on now. Unless you are on C Hill at decent odds or State Man at decent odds EW, there really is no point in trying to find one to finish 3rd as you are playing for just that one place. Even the without market is pretty desperate. I'll just be watching and hoping C Hill puts up a stunning performance.

Price will collapse if he goes here and you’ll be able to cashout for around double your stake I’d imagine. That’s another way you could play it, definitely not a pointless bet imo

I'm not a cash out man though Stud. In it for the duration and love to see the horses I bet actually run. Everyone is different though.

Not really. Hoping to see C Hill blitz them and get one of the highest ratings of all time to make staying over hurdles the right decision. That's my wish.
