that’s all he has to say, “out target is the Cheltenham festival, we want to run this and that race, before hand, and running him over testing ground will impact that”
He just doesn't want to risk bottoming his horses in the less prestigious races on horrible ground
Which is all he needs to say not that it's unsafe or dangerous which it isnt

Swamp is my suggestion
Clonmel was a swamp the other day, took cash back 5 minutes to cover the last 2 furlongs
They didn't even bother covering their course last weekend and it was still on. They've got it right. Just get on with it. Start fining the likes of Henderson for pulling horses out if it is deemed safe and raceable. Imagine if footballers were pulled out of games if it were too firm. Just getting pathetic now . And don't start on fences/hurdles being missed out because of low sun. I never knew the sun was higher 10 years ago.

Is that not just his opinion?
And he felt it was irresponsible to run him?
Again his opinion?
The inference I get from that is he was seriously concerned about the welfare of his horse if he ran him.
Part of the trainers job I would have thought.

Ive yet to see a quote that running him on heavy is dangerous.

At the end of the day if the owner doesn't want to run their horse that's up to them. They pay the bills, entry fees etc.Long bitcoin, long gold, long silver, long g/s opening day Cheltenham Festival

Who has the hardest task on Boxing Day ?
One will be massive odds on and running 2 miles.
Shishkin got to go three and odds against.
How can he possibly be so sure it’ll affect constitution hills chances but not shishkin ?
If I was a journalist I’d ask him that question as well.
He’d likely not answer and get upset about it though.
