Very good from Impervious. Easily could have folded after getting headed away from the last.

Think Paul would have sent her to the front sooner if he could ride that again but two proper Mares, lovely.

The speed ADV went away from the last I thought she would just power away.

        Disappointing

Agree with this. She found nothing.

                    • I'm mentally exhausted after those 4 days. Need a bit of a break from betting. Good first 2 days, dreadful yesterday and galopin took care of today.

Case of what might ve been with facile vega, gerri, fact to file, teahupoo, allegorie de vasy, Magical zoe and stumptown all coming second so not as good as last year.

Just about got enough back to cover my golf membership and ordered myself a new tablet.

My aim is always to pay for my golf which galopin took me past but no new set of irons this year with all those 2nds hahaha.

Hope every else hit the mark they were aiming for as well.

Also, Lossie winning has kicked off a very good day…
I seem to recall Rooster Booster putting him up at some time

                        • Today was as fantastic as yesterday was dismal. What a horse Galopin is, far too many highlights to mention really as a racing enthusiast. Need to sleep for a few days. Thanks everyone for the views and banter, and moderators for all the work they put in.

Yep fantastic race, Hewick, Ahoy Senor, Conflated and Protektorat all big contributors, BMG was superb and GDC is something else!!
                            Loved it!!!

                              • Certainly was. The only downside was Corbetts Cross coming into my reckoning late over the last few weeks, and then when I had him onside, that happened. Not enough any of my backed horses, even placing. A loss overall due as with most to what happened to most of our bets yesterday. So many anchor multiples went south yesterday, if they hadn't been hit enough after Gerri Colombe.
