The Naiad meeting spot by the paddock/weighing room is a good place to meet after a race. I’d be up for a get together there at any time on Wednesday and/or Thursday for sure.
Also hoping to make the Tuesday celebration but that’s a bit more complicated for me.

If we said meet there after Race 2 on each day, then we have a consistent timing of when we meet up.

If that sounds a good idea.

I'd say so David. That way it'll be easier to catch up with those people who aren't there or have other commitments on Tuesday.

Apologies Saxon Warrior but I'm not entirely sure if you mean the spot that Spectre is suggesting for the Naiad meet or somewhere slightly different.

Last year we met near the bottom of the steps next to the fence between the weighing room and the paddock terraced standing area. It looks out almost directly at the spot inside the paddock where Ruby, AP and co stand to present their TV racing coverage.

The good thing about meeting near the bottom of the steps is that there's almost always plenty of space down there for us to gather.

More people tend to congregate near the top of the steps (close to the fast food stalls).

I assume that's where you mean by the "top (high point) of the paddock viewing" - but I maybe wrong.

But if we can get a firm fix on the location I'll be there after race 2 on Wednesday and Thursday.

It's easier to meet at the top Rich, and then filter down as people go when the horses leave the paddock. There's usually sufficient space, and it's harder to find people the further down you go.
