For me theres only 4 races that may represent a bit of value, you could even have a win and an EW Yankee, at the time of writing I'd have a go on:

Supreme: Il Etait Temps / Rare Edition
Ultima: Corach Rambler / Cloudy Glen
    Mares: Honeysuckle / Queens Brook
    Boodles: Tekao / Jazzy Matty

And I would definitely back both of them on the day.

Love Envoi has been impeccable this season and has upped her game from last year. Only ever been beaten once at Punchestown when OTT after a long hard season. She has surprised connections by the pace she has showed in her races this season so much so she was given an entry into the Champion Hurdle. Other horses in the race have more question marks against them than her and she looks nailed on for a place as a minimum with very good win claims. With guaranteed ground on the first day no quicker than Good/Soft she is a huge player.

        Lord Accord...Ultima
Ultima is the plan. In his last two races he's run in exactly the same races as Neil's previous Ultima winner The Druids Nephew..... Hennessey Gold Cup and then final prep in Cleeve Hurdle so as not to dent Handicap mark and also to take the edge off him before building him back up again. He's also 8, same age as TDN and is a course winner and weighted lovely. Lots to like.

Going off on a tangent .... I remember backing The Druids Nephew and after the perfect start to the day.... Douvan and Un De Sceaux, I had the double figure Ultima winner.

Faugheen then won, and the 4-timer was on.... as we all know.

Before the Mares Hurdle, my best mate text me, who isn't in to racing at all, a picture of his 10 quid "acca" that day...... of course, Douvan, Un De Sceaux and Faugheen in (at shorter prices than I clearly had, as a shrewdie on here) BUT he has just popped The Druids Bloomin Nephew in at 14/1 .... so his tenner on the 5 fold would've won more than I did! (Shocking looking back as it's not even that long ago!)

          It did soften the blow

Went through the card that day, it was when I didn't back shitloads in each race also.
Not only did I put more on the treble than the four timer (so could laugh it off in front of my mates who were crestfallen), I also backed Glens Melody without the FAV.
I was that drunk watching cause of causes - I was shouting "go on Nina" for the last half mile. It's now a tradition to call Nina home whenever Jamie Codd is riding.
Ended up on my knees in Centaur when Rebecca's horse won the last - telling everyone who passed me (people swore at me )
I then got all starry and scary and attempted to get into the parade ring to tell Rebecca.
Escorted off the premises of course.
On the train back to Birmingham I bought a rich ricci scarf off some lass for two hundred quid.
King of the world I was.
            Happy days.

….not sure which of that to take out, ‘go on Nina’ or paying 200 quid for the scarf

Current thoughts on the Tuesday card:-

Like Marine National for the Supreme.

Really like Dysart Dynamo for the Arkle.

No strong view in a wide open Ultima... maybe Our Power ew.

Reckon Vauban looks a steal (for place money) in the Champion Hurdle.

Like Brandy Love for the Mares' Hurdle and SWIW ew.

Quite like Jazzy Matty ew in the deadly h'cap that is the Fred Winter.

Gaillard Du Mesnil looks banker material in the NH Chase.

So maybe... Marine National, Dysart Dynamo, Brandy Love and Gaillard Du Mesnil... as options for a win Yankee

Or... Dysart Dynamo, Vauban, SWIW & Jazzy Matty as options for a (dirty) ew Yankee

Can you make a solid case for MN?

Haven’t been sucked into him at all yet and I don’t think i will

they have only kept their Cheltenham dream alive by tucking him away for so long nothing else

a spread of 4L between him Irish Point, Ashroe D & Champ Kiely doesn’t exactly scream superstar

Its a tough race to crack, hard to come down on anything apart from the obvious FV (am willing to write off his last run). I made the mistake of completing writing a horse off before like Shiskin and i am weary of doing it again here.

FV win @ 2/1 or IET e/w 6s are the safe plays

I will probably will have one more outsider on the day but MN will be running dry for me

My own view is that the Royal Bond form (on soft ground) is solid and I think Marine National is a lot better than the bare form given how he had to manoeuvre for a gap and overcome an uncharacteristic shuddering error at the last.

Champ Kiely was probably below par there and I wouldn't read the form literally to his Lawlors win though Irish Point's 2nd there is a positive imo and I don't think anything can be judged in relation to Irish Point's no show at the DRF on quicker ground (scratched from Cheltenham since). Ashroe Diamond was key to me backing MN in giving a tangible form line with Facile Vega at Xmas. I don't think she was a trier behind FV and as I mentioned I think MN is better than the bare form of the Royal Bond.

I know a lot of people will already have him but I do think if the rain comes its a fairly obvious shout to have Nassalam in the Ultima ew. I would have been keen on Lord Accord if the ground stayed good.

Risk Belle another one to consider in the Boodles. Just taking note of the plunge in that Mares Handicap Hurdle at DRF more than anything. Sometimes vibes are more important to me than form as people might have gathered over the last week or so!
