Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Agree, I’ve blindly followed these for the last few years in the final week, definitely a good part of the final week build up. Would be great to be part of it as a newbie member.

Am I right in thinking that there were 6 last year, including a handicap Yankee?

Indeed as I was the handicap yankee and I think I actually returned a profit

…just to note, the February Forum Yankee was a Handicap Yankee. I suppose we could have another.

we used to let the winner of a tipping competition do one but we havent had the competitions lately.

I'm sure Kevloaf will explain all but just a reminder that when captains are decided and yankee threads created the idea is that there's discussion/suggestions for each captain to consider, and next Sunday the captains will confirm their picks.
It's not a case (as we had one year) of a captain simply picking 4 horses, like everything in here there should be good discussion/debate...

I did go back and work out who won last year's tipping comp? Mighty was the winner, if we wanted to have the competition winner pick a Yankee.

Whether this year or another year, I really like the idea that the previous years DG cup winner gets the opportunity to do a "free choice"/overall Yankee for the forum for the subsequent years Cheltenham

That thread still makes me laugh. Instant classic.
