I don't know if any of you guys have heard but there is some snow due in March like you all i am just concerned it wont effect the Festival at all. I not that good at getting the forecast up like you guys are though.

If there is snow it will be next week - should all be clear by the time the Festival starts

Long range weather forecasts are notoriously inaccurate... no need to start getting concerned at all. I'm fairly close to Cheltenham and looking at my forecast, I'd be surprised if it's anything more than a dusting if it snows at all. Honestly I'd be more concerned with frost than snow based on that (and I'm not concerned about frost either really).

Years of worrying about the weather for Glastonbury Festival have taught me a thing or too about long range weather forecasts.

This far out you should only really be looking at Ensemble model outputs. These basically take the current weather and model it out with approximately 20 different models. The more these models agree, the more confident we can feel aboit the forevast.

Looking at precipitation and air pressure, there is little alignment passed 5th March so at this stage anything beyond that is just unknown.

The most important thing when it comes to the weather forecast (and life really) is do not read the Daily Mail under any circumstances.

I remember watching The Thinker win the Gold Cup in the snow in ‘87 - ahh the good old days before global warming when you got winter weather in winter and just cracked on with it!

Metcheck are as good as any:

Check the latest accurate weather forecast for United States weather forecast for Cheltenham Racecourse. The forecast displays temperature, feels like, wind information as well as more detailed forecasts.
