  • It's been raining for the last hour in Prestbury on the back straight of the course, but it looks to brighter behind it. Hopefully there isn't too much tonight.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

      • The rain came down hard for about 2 hours but then dried up and no rain since. The ground today will be lovely and fresh but obviously on the Soft side.

The weather forecast is pretty good today too. No rain after 8am and bits of sun. It will be really interesting to see what the jockeys say after the first few races.

Yep, agree Charlie. Don't think it will ride that bad at all. At least it'll stop the dreaded watering all week. Perfect NH ground.

I’ve got an excuse (rolls eyes), wee man has my body clock to f*ck at the minute!

This was my chance for a good nights kip

                      • Some impressive early morning replies!

Only 0.2mm since midnight, few light sleet/rain showers early then clearing up. Should be soft, but hopefully good NH ground....times of first 2 races will tell us all we need to know.

Wednesday afternoon / evening through to Thursday morning still has significant chance of rain, but huge ranges still.

                        Best of luck everyone!!

Thought Henderson's comments were quite interesting about the lack of grass meaning it's going to ride quite dead, not something I'd considered too much as an aside from rainfall

I think he's chatting shit tbh. We had a month of unseasonably warm 7 degree + weather where the grass would have been growing.

My little boy just slept through the night for the first time in weeks. Can't tell you what a boost for morale this has been
