        Absolutely.

He hurdled like a seasoned animal, but found absolute zilch which must be very disappointing for connections.

Mark Howard sent out an update via Declan Phelan today about the PTP dossier being released this week and some ramblings given Nolan had two runners due out today that will feature in the Ptp Feature, more context and won't post the lot as after the result it can be deemed fruitless with said horse but the jist of said stable remains.

"Paul Nolan according to my research, paid combined, over one million pounds for a selection of four year old pointers out of the spring time academy. In recent years, I have avoided his runners from a punting angle, and in truth, leaving bias aside, the stats do recommend continuing this policy.
If one drills into the figures, for the last three jump campaigns in Ireland, the Nolan win strike rate has chimed in at 4%, 12% & in 2022/23 6%.....in two of the three campaigns, not one of his team won more than once in a season........a trend I notice, a nice young horse may win a maiden/novice hurdle and then it struggles when upped in class. Perhaps, the uptick in quality stock recruited this spring may buck the trend this winter.....for my part, I will be very cautious punting material from the Nolan stable."

            • Ran as I thought he would. Didn't look his race today and the market spoke volumes. He does look a Stayer. Chasing will be his game.

Have a feeling HDS might not be that a good thing today. He may be ground dependant. He's struggled each time he's faced deep ground so may not appreciate today's conditions and has to give away a huge amount of weight to Gordon's filly who loves a bit of dig.

Couldnt agree more regarding Hercule Lobos, think he's a stinking price on this ground. I'd side with Path myself if I was having a bet, he's won on soft/heavy at Galway previously albeit is a bit of an in-and-out horse

On Hurdle ratings the filly looks well in to me with HDS. She may have further improvement over fences as well after just one start/win. Think she could be sent off in front today. Catch me if you can.

I feel for that poor sod, go look at her record on RP. She must have been on the go for over a year straight now, don't like to see that with such a young horse even though she obviously takes her racing well.

21 runs since 8th Aug last year.. shocking that imo

                            Well he shut me up...

Huge improver Hercule, be interesting to see when he goes against the winter lot how he fares.

                            • Me too !! Impressive from HDS. Looked like he loved it out in front and went through the ground lovely. He's certainly improved for a fence. He could easily come into Arkle contention or maybe even Turners.
