"Paul Nolan according to my research, paid combined, over one million pounds for a selection of four year old pointers out of the spring time academy. In recent years, I have avoided his runners from a punting angle, and in truth, leaving bias aside, the stats do recommend continuing this policy.
If one drills into the figures, for the last three jump campaigns in Ireland, the Nolan win strike rate has chimed in at 4%, 12% & in 2022/23 6%.....in two of the three campaigns, not one of his team won more than once in a season........a trend I notice, a nice young horse may win a maiden/novice hurdle and then it struggles when upped in class. Perhaps, the uptick in quality stock recruited this spring may buck the trend this winter.....for my part, I will be very cautious punting material from the Nolan stable."

21 runs since 8th Aug last year.. shocking that imo
