Sorry for the slow response everyone. Last week was a whirlwind and I don't log into FJ during the week itself. The last three days have been full on switch off recovery
The Goffer gave us a great spin, he travelled nicely, so it's hard to blame the ground. In reality he just didn't stay. I do wonder if they'll be tempted to drop him back to two and a half miles now.
That said we got some very nice place money back, and we can go again next year.
Thanks for all you support, it really is very much appreciated. There were a thousand people on the live podcast which was amazing. Hopefully we can enjoy the ride again next year.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

I would like to offer my two penny worth re the non staying aspect and the going, the thing that struck me was that the horse got beat much further this time in what I would consider to be a weaker race compared to the 2023 running, yes he does appear to be running on fumes approahing the rise, which could be going attributed. thanks once more and good luck with the King at Aintree.Last edited by Redbridge; 19 March 2024, 02:52 PM.
