Especially from a born realist. Whatever people may think of him he’s pretty no nonsense when it comes to assessing the chance of his horses so this is indeed nice to read. Bits and pieces of rain showing in some forecasts most days …where’s our green goddess???

Met Check are predicting approx 20ml in the few days leading up! Even if half that arrives with the watering that will be going on it should be suitable!

        Absolutely that’ll do just fine

        • Just watching and having a little giggle at Dave Orton saying on Racing Post Chelt preview saying how did Nassalam become fav for this race?? Ha, Spectre & FJ moving markets. Kealy went on to say he really likes the Naid for this race.

….the same Paul Kealy who now has 23 consecutive losing daily naps. Weirdly, he’s not bottom of the table.

I did think I’m not to sure if his vote of confidence is a good thing Eggs. Suppose he has to get one right at some point.

              • He’s not NAP’d it chaps, so we’re alright for the moment. If he NAPs it on day 1…

Haha, Paul Kealy is far, far superior to the overwhelming majority on here I'd say!

100%! I actually really rate Him. Especially when comes to Cheltenham Handicaps.

                    • Every time I listen to Kealy he sounds more & more like Steve Mellish.

                      • Yeh for the record I like Kealy, he has an opinion and usually has a good reason to back his selection. Hardest game in the world as Archie would say on the Fast show.

                        • Kealy saying Shishkin would win the ryanair based on his sandown run is as fucking stupid as it gets.

If shiskin replicated that ascot run then what’s going to beat him?

                              Nothing.
Sandown run is what he said.
And he'd be unplaced based on that run.

                              • For the record, Paul Kealy knows that Nassalam is this years Naiad.

Dave Orton isn't in our in-crowd though
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
