* Ballyadam (County Hurdle)
Reasons:
Rewatch his run on Sunday when 3rd to Gaelic Warrior, he ran a seriously good race off 142, IRE added 2lb to 144 now
* Hes been 2nd in a Supreme, and 5th (btn 6L) in the County Hurdle last year off 144
* He was on a bit of a downer last season, aborted chase campaign, btn 23L in the International Hurdle on a hurdles run, and then 20th in last years Liffey Hurdle at the DRF, btn 68 lengths.
* In spite of that broken season, he travelled well, in a pocket at the back of the whole pack in the County Hurdle, blocked off then stayed on well, into 5th behind State Man.
* This season (hadnt run since July) his winter debut after a 6-Month break he ran an eye-catching 3rd to Gaelic Warrior, looking strong enough at the finish too.
* He equalled his best Hurdle RPR in Sundays race.
* I expect UK capper to give him maybe a 145-146 rating, and he's in a much better place this season to run a better race at the Festival.

People will very quickly look at 5th last year, and higher in the weights, so dismiss him.
Not that 20/1 isn't fair.... just wouldn't go crazy on the stake without BOG

….from what I can see, Lord Accord (Ultima) & Pembroke (County) look definite. Bit of a close thing with Fastorslow just edging Frero for a Plate nomination.
Much of a muchness after that, Sir Allen, Mr Incredible, Stumptown all in the points. I suppose something might change if/when weights are known.
Not long for folk to post their Handicap 1,2,3 or amend initial entries.
