    Absolutely.

He'll need to go from the front, IMO. Didn't like to be jumping in and amongst other horses, well not compared with a his debut where he got a solo.

Balco Coastal definitely comes here and with a chance apparently.
Personally I have Mighty Potter as a monster, can't see BC getting near him...

I think he's a great ew play at the prices. But MP is a big winner for me, so it's also for a bit of cover!

More about the speed of the race than distance.

Ummmmmm, not sure what to make of that.....was getting used to it being a match between Gerri and him. Now he has Harry, Appreciate me , Banbridge and Stage Star to contend with.

That Spectre is wrong and Gerri Colombe is a good thing in the BANC

                      • Mighty Potter into 11/10 and evens. He's a lay for me at that price beating boats last time out - I think Appreciate It could shorten significantly from 4s. Feels like connections think he's up there with the best in the yard

                        • Just can't see how Potter gets beaten. Nothing in there scares me, he's in a different league.

I'd imagine appreciate it is a lot better than gaillard du mesnil over 2m4f so should be tested a bit more this time

Be interesting to see how he goes to post this year, Lydia hislop made the point the other day that the occasion got to him before the supreme

I get that, but he looks like a much more mature horse this year. I have him in pretty much every multiple so I really hope he doesn't let me down.

                              • It's hard to forgive him for his performance last year. He reportedly didn't travel over well, he was fractious in the parade ring, he collided with the running rail going to post, he never travelled in the race and jumped terrible before being pulled up.
He was very good in his races before Cheltenham and since so there clearly wasn't a physical issue.
I couldn't back him with any confidence even though he looks to have the best form in the race. It's a tough one.
