In one of the Stable Tours, Nicholls also mentioned next years Ryanair would be up his street.
Surely Turners lends itself more to the Ryanair than the BANC.....

(I've backed him for both NRNB, but I am only attending on the Thursday......)

It didn't harm Allaho, albeit he didn't win the BANC, but wasn't far off.

You've just added more weight to Stage Star going Turners/Plate there COD. Allaho would have waltzed home in the Turners........and yes I backed him for it

I haven't and I also couldn't care less where he goes, I wasn't trying side with one or the other, I've no bet on him and that will remain the case, though I wish Leman14and fellow owners of him the best of luck with him wherever he ends up.

Thanks COD. We live in hope, rather than expectation
(Didn't pan out too badly for Pentland..... )

Not like Gerri or Sir Gerhard aren't doing the same.

Yep, fair point although both have gone 3 PTP.

Might be a tad unusual, but if PN thinks he stays 3m, he almost certainly will.
If he turned up in the BANC I would be glad I covered.

Trainers baffle me sometimes which is easily done, sir gerhad has run 10 times, 8 of which have been over 2miles one over 2m5f and the other a ptp over 3miles were he beat a horse that has only run up to 2m5 under rules, last year he was worried they had picked the wrong race as he was very keen and he was thinking at one point he might be a champion hurdler, now after running once over a 2mile novice chase he is going 3miles in banc because they will go a stride slower to help his jumping, he did make an absolute howler of a mistake but didn’t fall and in the end won easy, why is he running in the banc is it because Willie was really disappointed in his performance because to me and I.m normally wrong everything he has done prior to this didn’t point there it was more likely turners or arkle. I think he has pace and would like to see him in the turners but they have appreciate it for this race but I felt he disappointed

I think if Willie only trained Sir Gerhard and had no other novice chasers, that Sir Gerhard would be running in the Turners or Arkle before the BANC ...

I also though don't think he'd be winning an Arkle versus Jonbon or Turners vs Mighty Potter.... on what we've seen so far. Not that I don't think he could, I just think they'd be solid favs over him.... but that's also how I feel in the BANC

Yeah on everything that has happened this year you couldn’t have him favourite for any of the races but he has only had one run and I kinda got the feeling after appreciate it, Dysart dynamo and el Fabiolo, ran their first races I’m not sure anyone could have thought if all 3 met that el Fabiolo would win really convincingly by 10lenghts from Banbridge, at the start he was favourite and won his only race after being slow to come to hand apparently so should have plenty of improvement to come, I understand the preparation isn’t ideal but why is it any better for the 3miler, I think his best chance is this race on what he has done before now might potter has been really goood but sir gerhad has the past form to put in with a chance and if he comes forward which he should I find 36’s on the exchanges had to resist it was bigger in case wullie changes his mind for small stakes

Nicholls still undecided on where Stage Star will go.
BANC looks less competitive, but the trip is an unknown.
it will depend on the ground…
